Generate at home
Solar panels
Assess the available roof faces, direction, shading and household demand to create a practical solar layout.
Explore your roof →Solar & batteries for your home
Generate electricity from your roof and consider storage for the times you need it. A properly designed system starts with your home, your electricity use and your plans.

Make a more informed choice
Your roof matters, but so does when you use electricity. We consider both before shaping a proposal, with room to discuss changing household needs and future plans.
Generate at home
Assess the available roof faces, direction, shading and household demand to create a practical solar layout.
Explore your roof →Use energy at a different time
Consider storing surplus solar or using suitable electricity tariffs. Capacity and controls should reflect your usage and the chosen equipment.
Explore battery storage →A joined-up design
Review generation, storage and electricity use together, with a clear explanation of what the proposed system can and cannot do.
Review a combined system →Start exploring — no contact details needed
Use the same solar designer, set up for a home. Enter measured roof dimensions or draw one roof face, adjust its direction and explore estimated generation and tariff-based savings.
This initial estimate uses stated generation and self-use assumptions. Satellite tracing remains on hold; measured dimensions and the scaled drawing board are available.
The details that make the difference
Roof direction, pitch, shading, condition and access affect the design. Multiple roof faces and obstructions need a closer review than a quick online estimate can provide.
Annual usage is a starting point. Daytime and evening demand, time away from home and future electrical loads help determine the right balance of panels and storage.
Battery size should reflect usable energy, charging and discharge power, household needs and tariff choices. Adding more storage does not automatically create more savings.
Power-cut backup is equipment- and design-dependent; it is not automatic with every battery. If backup matters, tell us so the necessary equipment and supported circuits can be considered.
A clear view of the investment
We explain the system proposed, the assumptions behind estimated generation and savings, and the information still needed before installation.
The online designer separates potential bill reductions from export income. Battery benefits need a further assessment of your usage, tariff and system settings.
Talk through the optionsThe same equipment commitment
We only install equipment with documented manufacturer and supply-route traceability. Product specifications, equipment identification where applicable and warranty information support a clear handover.
A practical route to home solar
Use the designer or tell us about your property, electricity use and goals.
Discuss the roof, shading, electrical supply, equipment locations and any backup requirements.
Review the proposed equipment, scope, generation and savings assumptions, and next steps.
Agree the installation stages, commissioning and the information you need to use the system.
Project locations
Explore projects in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire, with enquiries also welcome for Buckinghamshire and Essex. Include your site postcode so the location and project requirements can be reviewed.
Explore areas and project optionsTell us about your site and objectives. We’ll review your enquiry and confirm the proposed installer, scope and delivery arrangements before you commit to a project.
Let’s talk about your home
Tell us what you know about your home and what you want to achieve. If you’ve used the roof designer, its summary can carry straight into this enquiry.
A postcode and a little information about your home are enough for an initial conversation. Electricity bills or roof drawings can follow.
Already have solar? Mention the existing equipment and what you want to add or change.
Common homeowner questions
Yes. Enter plan dimensions or draw a scaled roof outline, set its pitch and direction, then adjust your electricity tariff and the assumptions. It provides an initial estimate, not a final installation design. Real-property satellite tracing remains on hold.
No. The designer estimates solar generation and the value of the solar you assume you can use on site or export. A battery needs a separate review of capacity, operating power, usage timings and tariff settings.
A battery-only system can be considered. Its suitability and potential savings depend on your electricity use, tariff, equipment losses and installation cost. We review those details before recommending a system.
Only if the system is specified and installed for that purpose. Backup capability, power limits and the circuits supported vary by equipment and installation. Tell us early if this is important to you.
We can assess the existing equipment, electrical arrangement and proposed changes. Compatibility, roof space, warranties and any connection requirements need to be reviewed first.
Yes. Commercial energy and new-build developments remain our main focus. This page gives homeowners a dedicated route to explore solar and batteries and discuss their property.
