Your roof. Your tariff. Your potential.
See what solar could do
for your site.
Explore one roof face at a time. Create an initial panel layout, adjust its direction and see how electricity used on site could reduce your bills.
Locate your property
A postcode finds the area. Confirm the correct building before drawing.
Or start below with known roof dimensions.
Loading the map connects to Google Maps. Postcode searches connect to Postcodes.io.
Keep north at the top. Pan and zoom to your building, then start an outline and tap its corners. Finish to calculate. Set facing direction by tapping a point downhill from the roof centre.
Shape your roof
Use horizontal plan dimensions, not the sloping length. Exclude other roof faces.
Example roof: 20 × 10 m. Replace it with your own dimensions or outline.
The orange arrow shows where the roof slopes down. Due south is 180°. For a flat roof, use the intended panel-facing direction.
Drawing and measurement guidance
Tap each corner in order, then “Finish outline”. Each grid square shows a known distance. The drawing board is a scaled plan, not aerial imagery. For a roof on the map, use one continuous, planar face. Keep rooflights and access routes outside the chosen area or increase the reserve below. Complex roofs should be reviewed by our team.
Refine your assumptions
Adjust the roof, panels and the electricity your site can use.
