Locate your property

A postcode finds the area. Confirm the correct building before drawing.

Or start below with known roof dimensions.

Satellite tracing is awaiting its map connection. You can use measured roof dimensions and the scaled drawing board now.
02

Shape your roof

Use horizontal plan dimensions, not the sloping length. Exclude other roof faces.

Example roof: 20 × 10 m. Replace it with your own dimensions or outline.

The orange arrow shows where the roof slopes down. Due south is 180°. For a flat roof, use the intended panel-facing direction.

Drawing and measurement guidance

Tap each corner in order, then “Finish outline”. Each grid square shows a known distance. The drawing board is a scaled plan, not aerial imagery. For a roof on the map, use one continuous, planar face. Keep rooflights and access routes outside the chosen area or increase the reserve below. Complex roofs should be reviewed by our team.
